1. Introduction

Pill and Vitamin Reminder ("we," "our," or "the App") is developed and operated by Prokhvatilov Daniil, located in Ukraine. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application collects, uses, and protects your information, including data collected by third-party services integrated into the App.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

2.1 Medication and Health Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device using a local database (SQLite):

• Medication Data: Medication names, dosages, schedules, frequency, icons, colors, course duration, and stock levels
• Dose History: Records of taken, missed, skipped, and snoozed doses with timestamps
• Medication Photos: Images you attach to medications for visual identification
• App Settings: Language, time format, notification preferences, first day of week
• Analytics Data: Adherence scores, missed time patterns, and weekly statistics — all calculated locally

Important: All medication and health data is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this information, and it is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. This data remains entirely under your control.

2.2 What We Do NOT Collect Directly

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contact lists
• Photos or media unless you manually choose to attach them to a medication
• Health data from HealthKit or any health APIs

3. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services that may collect certain data as described below:

3.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect the following data to serve and personalize advertisements:

• Device Identifier (IDFA/Advertising ID): Used to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance
• Advertising Data: Information about advertisements you have viewed or interacted with
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, screen size, and network type
• IP Address: Used for approximate geographic targeting of advertisements

AdMob's data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements, and AdMob does not collect data from Premium users.

3.2 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect:

• Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier (not linked to your personal identity)
• Purchase History: Subscription status, transaction dates, and product identifiers
• Device Information: Device model and operating system version

RevenueCat does not collect your name, email, or any personal identification information. RevenueCat's data practices are described in their Privacy Policy.

3.3 Apple/Google Push Notification Services

The App uses platform notification services (APNs for iOS, FCM for Android) to deliver medication reminders. These services use a device token to route notifications to your device. This token does not contain personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS devices, the App requests your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. This prompt appears before any advertising data is collected.

• If you choose "Allow": AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to deliver personalized ads. This may result in more relevant advertisements and higher quality ad experience.
• If you choose "Ask App Not to Track": AdMob will not use your advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. You will still see advertisements, but they may be less relevant to your interests.

You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Camera and Photo Library

The App may request access to your device camera and photo library for medication photos:

• Purpose: To allow you to attach photos to medications for easier visual identification
• Camera Access: Used only when you actively choose to take a photo. The App does not record video or capture images in the background
• Photo Library Access: You may optionally select existing images from your gallery. The App accesses only the photos you explicitly choose
• Storage: Photos are stored locally on your device as part of your medication data
• No Upload: The App does not upload, transmit, analyze, or share your photos with the developer or any third party
• User Control: You can remove photos at any time within the App. Camera and photo permissions can be revoked in your device settings. The App remains fully functional without these permissions

7. Data Export

The App allows you to export your medication data in PDF and CSV formats. These files are generated locally on your device and are shared only through the sharing method you choose (email, messaging, etc.). We do not have access to your exported files.

8. Data Storage and Security

All medication data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database with secure storage mechanisms provided by the operating system (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore for sensitive data). Since we do not collect or transmit your medication data to external servers, your information remains under your control at all times.

Data collected by third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat) is stored and secured according to their respective security practices and privacy policies.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Third-party advertising: AdMob receives device identifiers and advertising data for ad delivery (free tier only)
• Subscription management: RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase data to manage your subscription
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process
• User-initiated sharing: When you use the export feature to share PDF or CSV reports

10. Your Rights and Choices

• Opt out of personalized ads: Use the ATT prompt (iOS) or device advertising settings to limit ad tracking
• Delete your data: Remove medications, photos, and history within the App settings, or uninstall the App to delete all local data
• Manage notifications: Enable or disable reminders in the App settings or device system settings
• Manage subscriptions: View, modify, or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings
• Revoke permissions: Camera and photo library permissions can be revoked at any time in device settings

11. Notifications

The App uses push notifications to remind you about medication doses, low stock alerts, and snooze reminders. Notification delivery depends on device permissions, battery status, and operating system restrictions. We are not responsible for missed reminders caused by device limitations or disabled permissions. You can manage notification preferences within the App or through your device's system settings.

12. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require any personal information to function. If you believe a child has provided personal data through a third-party service integrated in the App, please contact us.

13. International Users

The App is available globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, please note:

• Your medication data is stored locally and never leaves your device
• Third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat) may transfer data internationally in accordance with their privacy policies
• You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time
• The legal basis for data processing by third-party advertising services is your consent (via ATT prompt or equivalent)

14. Data Retention

• Local data: Retained on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App
• AdMob data: Retained according to Google's data retention policies
• RevenueCat data: Retained as long as your subscription is active, plus any period required by applicable law

Pill and Vitamin Reminder is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical or medication decisions. The developer is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from the use of the App.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, third-party services, or applicable laws. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
